When does the eSIM activate?
The plan starts counting on the first connection to a network in your destination, not at the moment of purchase.
Can I install it before the trip?
Yes, and we recommend it. Install the profile at home over Wi-Fi and switch the line on after you land.
Can I keep my home SIM switched on?
Yes. The eSIM runs as a second line, so your number stays active for calls and text messages.
Will I still receive bank codes by SMS?
Yes, as long as your main SIM is switched on and in roaming. The eSIM only carries data.
Do I need to enable data roaming?
On the eSIM line, yes. On your home SIM it is usually best to turn roaming off so your own operator does not bill you.

What if there is no connection?
