What is an eSIM, and how do I check whether my phone supports one?
An eSIM is a digital SIM you add through your phone's settings — there is no plastic card. Dial *#06#: if the list includes an EID, your phone supports eSIM.
When should I install it?
Usually before you travel, while you still have stable Wi-Fi. When the plan starts counting depends on the plan itself — for most, on the first connection abroad.
Can I keep my usual SIM switched on?
Yes. On most recent phones the eSIM handles mobile data while your normal SIM stays active for calls and text messages.
Do I need to enable data roaming?
On the eSIM line it usually has to be on. You get setup instructions for your specific plan after the purchase.
Can I share the connection?
Yes — ViaLane plans allow using your phone as a hotspot, if your device supports it.
What if the eSIM will not connect?

Can I top a plan up?
